Fahd Mohammed Ahmed Al-Quso
Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole bombing in Yemen. Seventeen American sailors were killed and 39 others were injured in the attack of the billion dollar vessel. A 60’ x 40’ hole was ripped into the side of the ship as it re-fueled at the dock.
Today a ceremony will be held in honor of the victims’ lives that were taken. Family members, friends and fellow service members will attend the service in Norfolk, Virginia, homeport of the USS Cole.
The FBI still needs your help tracking down Fahd Mohammed Ahmed Al-Quso. He was indicted in the southern district of New York for his alleged part in the October 2000 bombing. Agents say Ahmed Al-Quso speaks Arabic and uses a list of aliases. At this point, he could be hiding out anywhere in the world.
You could receive a $5 million dollar reward for information leading to the direct apprehension or conviction in any country of Al-Quso. The Counterterrorism Calendar indicates he is 5’6” and weighs 150 pounds. He was born on November 12, 1974 in Aden, Yemen and has a Saudi Arabian citizenship.
