Investigators in Texas believe a serial rapist is targeting older alumnae from the same sorority. Police say all of the survivors were alone, inside their homes, when they were attacked. Authorities say it is what the suspect said to the women that leads them to believe the cases are connected. All survivors are alumnae with the Delta Sigma Theta, each woman is black and in their 50s and 60s. The attacks have occurred over the last 11 months and the suspect has been known to strike between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.
Attacks took place:
- One attack in Coppell, TX
- One attack in Shady Shores, TX
- Two attacks in Plano, TX
A surveillance cameracaught the alleged rapist on tape, the Plano, Texas Police department released that video.
Suspect is described:
- Black male
- Late 30s to mid-40s
- Stands between 5 feet 7 inches tall and six feet
Texas Department of Public Safety released sketches and video this week of a man throwing a Molotov cocktail into a governor’s mansion in 2008. Investigators said they have studied more than 1,900 hours of video near the home to get to the point they are at today. The alleged suspect in the video may also be the same suspect in another video near the rear gate of the mansion, authorities said. A white Jeep Cherokee was seen at the mansion taking pictures only four days before the planned attack on June 8, 2008 around 2 a.m. The persons inside, specifically the vehicle owner and two other occupants, are official “persons of interest.” Through process of elimination, authorities say they located more than 3,000 vehicles in Texas with the same description and were then able to locate the driver. That man and the persons inside his vehicle are considered persons of interest, but names are not being released.
Authorities said there is a direct link between an anarchist group in Austin and this crime. The same groups allegedly planned to attack the GOP Republican National Convention in Minneapolis in September 2008, the same summer the mansion fire occurred.
A search continues today for a young Texas girl has been missing for more than a week, and the search to find the teen is intensifying. Today’s search will continue to focus on an area near the Colorado River. Hailey Dunn, 13, was last seen before the New Year on Dec. 27. Authorities say she told her mother’s boyfriend she was going to a friend’s house to spend the night.
There is specific criteria in each state to issue an Amber Alert and in most cases you need to have a confirmed abduction and in some cases a vehicle and tag description is helpful. There is not an Amber Alert issued in this case.
Hailey is a white female, 5’1, 120 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes.

A disturbing case is working out of Phoenix, Arizona where the FBI is on the hunt for a pediatrician who is accused of distributing child pornography. Dr. Emilio Luna, 40, was arrested earlier this month when a federal grand jury brought down a five-count indictment against him. According to the FBI’s website, “Dr. Luna, a Phoenix pediatrician, came to the attention of law enforcement when thousands of files from suspected child pornography were shared from his computer in a public peer-to-peer file sharing system. He was arrested on Wednesday, September 1 by federal agents. Following a detention hearing a few days later, he was released by order of the court, and is forbidden to have access to the Internet or children while under supervision of U.S. Pre-Trial Services.”
A couple of weeks ago agents say Luna cut off his ankle monitoring device and fled. He had permission to attend church services, and his car was found later that night abandoned in a Glendale, Arizona parking lot.
According to the FBI, a conviction for distributing child pornography carries a mandatory minimum of five years and a maximum of 20.

Jean Paul Missing
This case was running through my mind this morning. I was searching through my files and the date December 18, 2009 popped up. That was the last time I brought you the case of Jean Paul who was taken illegally from his bus stop. Since then, a grand jury issued a felony indictment for the felony offenses of kidnapping, aggravated perjury and interference with child custody against his father, Jean Philippe Lacombe.
If you have any information on the suspect who attacked this elderly woman, please contact the Hurst Police in Texas with your information: (817)788-7146
Rachel Louise Cooke was home for Christmas break from college when she vanished without a trace. The FBI says on January 10, 2002 Rachel was last seen jogging in her parents’ neighborhood. Investigators say she had plans to run about three or four miles through her parents’ Georgetown, Texas subdivision. She left their home around 11:30 a.m. Rachel’s family says she is an accomplished cross-country runner, and usually does the same jog every morning. She was last seen wearing a green sports top, grey shorts, Asics shoes, and was carrying a yellow walkman. This case has been a mystery for nearly eight years now, but her family isn’t giving up hope. They created a website chocked full of information on her case, and events they get involved with to keep their daughter’s name in the spotlight. You can visit the site and download fliers to post around your own community.
Rachel has a tattoo of two heart-shaped cherries on her left shoulder, and a black star on her foot. She has multiple piercings to include pierced ears and a pierced navel.

That was the last time I brought you the case of Jean Paul who was taken illegally from his bus stop. Since then, a grand jury issued a felony indictment for the felony offenses of kidnapping, aggravated perjury and interference with child custody against his father, Jean Philippe Lacombe.
Investigators say Jean Paul Lacombe was abducted by his non-custodial father, Jean Philippe Lacombe, on October 15, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas. Lacombe allegedly gave the court invalid Mexican Documents to overturn the case, and the judge gave him custody. Lacombe was supposed to show back up for a court hearing on Monday, October 19, 2009, but instead he fled with his son.
HISTORY OF CUSTODY:
Cliff Herberg with the Bexar District Attorney’s office in Texas says there are 1,400 pages pertaining to this case that have accumulated over the years in Mexican court. He has not had a chance to review every single page, but Mr. Herberg was able to provide a timeline and background of custody between the parents.
