The lead investigator on this case is finally going home after a long day. He’s been up since 3:30 a.m. when he was called to piece together the clues to a shooting. He says seven people were shot, and one person was killed in the 500 block of Schuylkill Avenue in Reading. The shooting occurred in a place described as an illegal club. A fight broke out inside, shots were fired, and tragedy took over. Some of the victims transported to the hospital are facing life-threatening injuries. As investigators go home to their families tonight, they know they have their work cut out for them tomorrow morning. The detectives will be back on the job early to keep working the case, and following up with important leads. Hopefully arrests will be made soon.
