Madeline Morris has been searching for her missing son for nearly three years, and recently the case received added attention when a $1,000 reward was announced to help find her son. Montgomery County Police say John Morris, 37, went missing from Dickerson, Maryland on July 30, 2007. He was last seen near his home at the 2400 block of White’s Ferry Road standing at the end of the driveway. At the time, John shared his residence with his boyfriend, and police say his vehicle and belongings were left behind when he went missing. In a new press release, Montgomery County Police say, “extensive investigative techniques have been used during this multi-year investigation to try to gain information about what may have happened to Morris. No evidence has been developed to confirm whether or not Morris remains alive. The family believes that he would not have stayed away this long without making contact with his family. His family also believes that he would not intentionally have left and abandoned his dog. At this stage of the investigation, foul play is suspected.”

Norma Lopez MISSING (photo of the shirt she was wearing the day she vanished)

Norma Lopez vanished in broad daylight four days ago in Moreno Valley, California and now there is an all out search to find this beautiful teen.  Police told me Norma left her summer school classes at the Valley View High School and was supposed to meet her sister, but she never made it to the location.  Investigators believe she may have taken a short cut from Dracaea Avenue leading out to an area on Cottonwood Avenue, but somewhere in between authorities believe she may have been kidnapped.  In fact, some of her personal belongings were found in a field, and there could be signs of a struggle.  Investigators believe she was taken against her will and may have been thrown into a newer model green SUV.  That vehicle was seen fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed.

TAMPA FBI REVIEWING THE JENNIFER KESSE CASEFILE

Jennifer kesse-million-dollar-flyer-jenn-kesse

Investigators in Florida desperately need your leads to find Jennifer Kesse. A couple of months ago, authorities announced to the Kesse family that they have exhausted all credible leads in this four year old case.  Drew Kesse, Jennifer’s father, told me yesterday the FBI in Tampa is actively looking over files and they will hopefully uncover new information. The local authorities say although investigators deem the case “active,” they have nothing more to move on at this time. Jennifer’s family will not give up until she is found dead or alive.

BACKGROUND: Police say Jennifer didn’t show up for work at Central Florida Investments on January 24, 2006. Early on in this investigation, her family told me that it was unlike her not to call if she was going to be late, or if something came up. Her boyfriend thought it was odd that he had not heard from Jennifer that morning on her way to work, and when he called her office, they said she had never arrived. Police responded to her condo to find nothing out of the ordinary. Later that afternoon, Jennifer’s friends and family sprung into action by canvassing the area with fliers looking for their loved one.

MOJAVE DESERT CROSS STOLEN, REWARD AND NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

www.christianpost.com

The Mojave Desert Cross has been standing for 75 years and it is still missing.  The cross was originally set in place by World War I veterans.  The memorial to honor fallen soldiers was stolen two months ago and the destruction of the cross is a federal crime under the Veterans’ Memorial Preservation and Recognition Act of 2003.

The cross has been the center of a Supreme Court ruling, and a lawsuit by a former National Park Service employee. Frank Buono claims the cross is on federal land, and that violates the establishment clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled the cross could stay on the land.

The cross stands seven feet tall; It is made of steel pipes and concrete and overlooks a million acres of desert. It appears someone was not happy with the Supreme Courts ruling.

There is now a reward for $125,000 put up by the Liberty of Institute and VFW that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.  The Library Institute has also launched a website to “Put the Cross Back.”

28-YEAR-OLD GRANDMOTHER MISSING

Margo Jordan Missing

Margo Jordan Missing

Margo Lynn Jordan is a mother and a grandmother.  She was reported missing by her parents on April 24th and hasn’t been seen since.  I spoke with Lt. Carl Minden from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.  He says Margo was living with her boyfriend and his sister when she disappeared.  She showed up for a work program at their jail on April 20th and was last seen by her family four days later.   There is now a $10,000 reward put up by her family for information on her case.  Lt. Minden says, “We’ve been looking at this for a month now, and the leads are starting to dry up. There’s not a whole lot left to go on right now and we are hoping to get more tips out of it.”

Shawn Isaacs, Margo’s boyfriend,  is considered a possible person of interest in this case, but investigators say they are working and exploring other angles as well.  “If you decided tomorrow that you don’t want to talk to anybody, there’s nothing I can do about it,” says Minden, but he feels there’s enough suspiciousness surrounding the case suggest something else may have happened to Margo.

CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION INTO KYRON HORMAN CASE (update)

Kyron Horman Missing

Kyron Horman Missing

The search to find a missing 7-year-old is now considered a criminal investigation.  Lt. Mary Lindstrand of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to me that the official search efforts to track Kyron Horman are now shifting.  Lt. Lindstrand said, “Although this has been an investigation since day one, it has progressed into a criminal investigation.”  Searchers from her department are available to assist in going out on leads, but the immediate area where the child went missing has been covered a dozen times.  Right now teams are combing the water and land near Sauvie Island, this is their fourth day in this area.  Authorities announced yesterday that there is a $25,000 reward being offered for any information, and this case will not grow cold.

FBI: Russian Millionaire Mobster

Semion Mogilevich

Semion Mogilevich

The FBI is on the hunt for Semion Mogilevich. They say this millionaire allegedly participated in his own multi-million dollar scheme to defraud investors. Mogilevich is charged with more than 40 counts of racketeering, wire fraud, prostitution, money laundering, and is on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted. Agents believe Mogilevich is responsible for dozens of other crimes across the world as well, and is known to be more powerful than John Gotti.  Peter Kowenhoven, FBI Supervisory Special Agent says, “He has access to so much including funding, including other criminal organizations, that he can with a telephone call effect the global economy.”

There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. We know Russia is Mogilevich’s primary residence, but investigators say he is known to have ties to the United States and England.  Mogilevich is also suspected of manipulated international energy markets as well.  He was arrested in Russia, but was released on bail. Unfortunately, Russia does not have an extradition treaty with the United States.

A serial bank robber dubbed the “grandpa bandit” is holding up banks throughout Oregon.  The fist hold up occurred back in October, and since then the FBI says the unknown man has struck six times.  The FBI says the “grandpa bandit” struck as recently as last week at the Bank of America in Medford, where he showed a teller a gun.  Agents say it does not appear he had a weapon in the previous robberies.  The FBI will not say exactly how much money he’s gotten away with, but they are offering $15,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.  The suspect is described as 5′8″ to-5′10″, weighing 160-180 pounds and having gray hair.  If you have any information, please contact:

HOW DOES THE FBI CHOOSE THEIR TOP TEN?

According to the FBI website:

  • The process starts when our Criminal Investigative Division’s Violent Crimes/Major Offenders Unit asks each of the 56 field offices to nominate candidates.
  • To be considered, fugitives must have committed a crime of violence and present a continuing danger to the community, and the publicity from their addition to the list could assist with their capture.
  • Nominations are reviewed by staff in the Violent Crimes Unit, and selections are forwarded up the chain of command and ultimately to the Director’s office for final approval.

AJA JOHNSON WAS ABDUCTED TWO MONTHS AGO

    Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010
    Aja Johnson Missing

    Aja Johnson Missing

It’s been 60 days today since Aja Johnson was abducted and her mother Tonya was found beaten to death inside an RV. Since then, investigators in Oklahoma have issued a warrant for Lester Hobbs arrest charging him with first degree murder and kidnapping. I spoke with Deputy U.S. Marshal Arthur Templeton out of the Lawton office again today, and he said there has been no activity on the case. A couple of weeks ago he stated that they have, “not had anything viable on the vehicle, Aja Johnson, or Lester Hobbs,” and sadly that is still the case today.  Templteton did mention that he has a meeting with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations later today, and they have plans to discuss new ideas to keep this case in the spotlight.

When this case originally broke, there was a massive ice storm that swept through most of the state of Oklahoma. The storm paralyzed the region for 8 – 14 days. During that period, many folks were without power, so some have not even heard about the Amber Alert or the murder.  That ice storm is long gone, and there are still no signs of this child.
