Investigators in San Antonio, Texas have concluded their search of a landfill for missing baby Gabriel Johnson.  In a press conference today, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said, “We have found no evidence of a homicide.  The case remains open as a missing person’s case.”  A few weeks ago, police announced the search for Gabriel through a landfill was not only a missing person’s investigation, but also a homicide investigation because Gabriel’s mother Elizabeth Johnson had told his father she killed the child.  Johnson is currently behind bars in Arizona facing charges of child abuse, kidnapping, and attempted custodial interference.  Her next court appearance is scheduled for 10 a.m. on March 17, 2010.  Logan, Gabriel’s father, is working with private investigator Jay J. Ames, tracking down leads, putting up fliers and doing everything he can to find his son.  They are traveling across the country and into Mexico in search of tips and information.

 PAULA SLADEWSKI MURDERED

Investigators are putting the pieces together and trying to figure out who would set Paula Sladewski on fire and then throw her in a trash dumpster.

Cops say Paula’s body was “burned beyond recognition” and firefighters were called to put out the flames at a dumpster fire.  Her body was identified a few days later through dental records.  Paula is originally from Michigan, and in 2003 she appeared in a video for Playboy.  At this time, investigators are calling her boyfriend a “person of interest.”

Police know the couple arrived in Miami on New Year’s Eve with friends, they watched Lady GaGa perform, and had plans to say in Miami throughout the weekend.  On January 2, 2009, that Saturday night, the couple went to Club Space – until they got into an argument at 7 a.m. Sunday morning and split up.  That’s when cops say she was last seen.
