Hassani Campbell is a 5-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy – he wears braces on his ankles and a big smile on his face. Police say Hassani went missing from Oakland, California on August 10, 2009 outside a shoe store parking lot. Sadly, he has not been seen since.

Police arrested his foster parents early on in the investigation, but then released them due to lack of evidence. Investigators are calling this case a homicide investigation.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said Hassani was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray pants.

POLICE: Susan Powell’s Children, Husband Killed In Intentional Explosion

Investigators in Washington say Susan Powell’s husband, Josh, and her two children, Charlie, 7, and Braden, 5, were killed by their father on Sunday afternoon. Authorities say a case worker dropped the children off at the Powell home near Tacoma, Wash. on Sunday, when Josh pushed the worker out of the way and brought the children inside. In matter of moments, there was an explosion and a fire. Investigators confirm they took three bodies from the scene, two children and one adult. They also confirm that the explosion was intentional.

Reports indicate Josh sent an e-mail just minutes before the explosion to his attorney saying, “I’m sorry, goodbye.” Josh lost custody of his children five months ago when investigators executed a search warrant on his father’s home and found child pornography.

Susan Powell went missing on Dec. 6, 2009 and has not been found. Josh said he took Charlie and Braden camping, in the middle of a snowstorm, during the night. Josh claims when he returned, Susan was nowhere to be found. He was the only public person of interest named in this case.

MARYLAND MISSING: John Morris Case Still A Mystery

Madeline Morris has been searching for her missing son for nearly five years. Montgomery County Police say John Morris, 37, went missing from Dickerson, Maryland on July 30, 2007. He was last seen near his home at the 2400 block of White’s Ferry Road standing at the end of the driveway. At the time, John shared his residence with his boyfriend, and police say his vehicle and belongings were left behind when he went missing. In a press release, Montgomery County Police say, “extensive investigative techniques have been used during this multi-year investigation to try to gain information about what may have happened to Morris. No evidence has been developed to confirm whether or not Morris remains alive. The family believes that he would not have stayed away this long without making contact with his family. His family also believes that he would not intentionally have left and abandoned his dog. At this stage of the investigation, foul play is suspected.”

Madeline, John’s mother, says, “If you have any idea of what happened to John. Please be a human being with a conscience and come forward. The truth will set you free. What comes around goes around, if not here, but at your final judgment day. Only you can make things right by coming forward and beg God’s forgiveness.”

John has a tattoo of a scorpion on his left shoulder and a snake on his right forearm. According to the FINDJOHNMORRIS website, he has a scar on his right calf, and his left ear is pierced.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for answers in this case.

FBI Joins The Search To Find Missing Montana Mother and Teacher

The FBI and local investigators in Montana have joined the search for a missing mother and teacher, Sherry Arnold. Authorities said Sherry vanished last Saturday between 6:30 and 6:45 a.m. and hasn’t been seen since. Sherry is married and has a blended family of five children with her husband.

Sherry has black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a slender build. Sherry was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with stripes on her sleeves, red nylon pants with black leggings and black gloves. MISSING: First Child On A Milk Carton Case Still Open

It’s been 32 years, since Etan Patz vanished from his New York City neighborhood and his case is still active. Etan’s story put missing children on the map in the United States. It is because of his abduction that the public started taking notice when a child wandered away or was taken.

Etan was actually the first child to appear on the side of a milk carton, and his case brought to light new legislation and awareness for missing children. The Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance is making good on his promise to re-open the case and to take a look at it with a fresh set of eyes, even though the former DA claimed there was not enough evidence to prosecute the case.

Erin Duggan, Communications Director from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Officen talked about closing this case for good, she said, “There are challenges, but it’s definitely been done before.” Erin went on to say that they can move forward with prosecution, even without a body.

Although in 2001 Etan’s parents obtained a court order that deemed Etan dead, they aren’t giving up hope that justice will be served. Etan’s father, Stanley Patz said, “Nothing is going to bring my son back, but I am encouraged the D.A. opened the case.” He continued, “I want someone to be held accountable, and I feel I owe it to Etan.”

Jose Ramos is the prime suspect in this case, but has never been charged. Former Federal Prosecutor Stuart Grabois said he is, “90 percent sure that the young boy he took that day for sexual purposes back to his apartment was the same boy who he saw was missing and who was on television, and the only boy missing and on television that evening was Etan.” Ramos is currently in prison in Pennsylvania for molesting two boys. He is scheduled for release on November 11, 2010.

Even though it’s been 31 years, re-opening this case is a positive move for all families of missing and exploited children. It proves that no matter how many days or decades pass, justice can still be served.

FORT WAYNE, INDIANA: 9-Year-Old Found Dead, Neighbor Charged

UPDATE: Investigators in Indiana Aliahna’s body was found in northeast Allen County. She went missing on Friday when Mike Plumadore, a neighbor, was watching Aliahna and her sisters. He is facing a murder charge.

POLICE: University Of Kansas Student Missing

Aisha Khan Missing

Investigators in Kansas are searching for a 19-year-old student who has not been seen since Friday. Authorities say Aisha Khan left her sister a troubling voicemail around 11 a.m. before she disappeared. In the message, there were indications that Aisha may have been harassed by a man who appeared to be drunk and tried to kiss her. Overland Park Police at this point to do not have information to confirm an abduction took place and they are moving forward with a missing persons investigation.

At this point, there are no suspects and Aisha’s family is offering a reward for information. MAINE: Toddler Vanishes From Home, Search Is On To Find Ayla Reynolds

Three days have passed since police say Ayla Reynolds, 20-months-old, was last seen. Ayla was last seen sleeping in her bed around 8 p.m. on Friday night. Her father reported her missing the next morning around 9 a.m. The FBI is now assisting with this case and are looking into the disappearance as a possible abduction.

Volunteers, police and firefighters spent the weekend looking for Ayla. She was last seen wearing green and polka dot one-piece pajamas and wearing a soft cast from a broken arm. Investigators say there were several adults inside the home on Friday evening when the toddler went to sleep and at least one of them was not a family member.

Ayla’s pajamas had the words “Daddy’s Princess” on them. She stands 2 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs about 30 pounds. If you have any information, please contact the Waterville Police Department at 207-680-4700.
