Semion Mogilevich

Semion Mogilevich

The FBI is on the hunt forSemion Mogilevich. They say this millionaire allegedly participated in his own multi-million dollar scheme to defraud investors. Mogilevich is charged with more than 40 counts of racketeering, wire fraud, prostitution, money laundering, and is on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted. Agents believe Mogilevich is responsible for dozens of other crimes across the world as well, and is known to be more powerful than John Gotti. Peter Kowenhoven, FBI Supervisory Special Agent says, “He has access to so much including funding, including other criminal organizations, that he can with a telephone call effect the global economy.”

There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. We know Russia is Mogilevich’s primary residence, but investigators say he is known to have ties to the United States and England. Mogilevich is also suspected of manipulating international energy markets as well. He was arrested in Russia, but was released on bail. Unfortunately, Russia does not have an extradition treaty with the United States.

JORAN VAN DER SLOOT BOMBSHELL CONFESSION

Remembering Stephany Flores

Remembering Stephany Flores

Late last week Joran Van Der Sloot was extradited to Peru to face murder charges, and late last night he reportedly admitted to the killing of Setphany Flores.  In an odd and shocking twist, the murder took place five years to the date that Natalee Holloway disappeared from Aruba.  It has always been suspected that Van Der Sloot had something to do with her disappearance, but there’s never been any evidence to hold him to face charges.  Neither Natalee’s nor her body have ever been found.

Stephany Flores’ body was found in a hotel room casino in Peru.  The room was in Van Der Sloot’s name, and he is seen on video tape walking into the room with Stephany, but walking out some time later by himself.  He reportedly tells the front desk not to disturb his girl, and with a back pack in tow, he flees.  In the video, Van Der Sloot has dark hair when he left the hotel, but by the time he was caught, not even a week later, his head was a shade of orange-red.

Aubrey Sacco MISSING

Aubrey Sacco MISSING

The parents of a young woman from Colorado are desperate to find their daughter.  Aubrey Caroline Sacco, 23, was traveling alone on the Langtang National Park trek, region north of Kathmandu, but she hasn’t been heard from since May 1, 2010.  Aubrey was nearing the end of a six-month Asian trip where she taught yoga classes at a resort.

Her family put together this timeline of where Aubrey was supposed to be in the days leading up to her disappearance.  Her father Paul Sacco and brother arrived at the US Embassy in Nepal today. Aubrey’s family originally contacted the embassy on May 4, 2010.  Paul will join the search and hike the trails to help find his daughter.

Her family claims there was a “possible” sighting of Aubrey on May 11, 2010 near Langtang Village; some folks from the village identified her from the missing persons poster in the area.

TRAVEL TIMELINE:

April 18, 2010: Left Hotel Elite, Kathmandu for Syabrubesi

April 19, 2010:  Arrived in Syabrubesi

April 20, 2010:  Received last email and contact before Hiking “Langtang Trek,” from Syabrubesi.

MADELEINE McCANN MISSING

Madeleine McCann’s parents, Kate and Gerry, went back to Portugal for the first time this weekend since Kate was wrongfully named a suspect in their daughter’s disappearance. It’s hard for me to believe it has been more than two years since this beautiful little girl went missing.  This is one of those cases that has captured the hearts and minds of people across the world. Through the ups and downs of this investigation, Madeline’s parents and family keep pushing on.

On the FindMadeleine.com website, the family makes it very clear that there is nothing to suggest Madeline has been harmed, and the little girl is very young and vulnerable and needs your help to find her.
