Jahessye’s family is begging for national attention and hoping with a larger audience, someone will come forward with information.  Currently, there is an $11,000 reward for information leading to the 5-year-old.

Jahessye is a black female, around 3 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 55 pounds.  She was last seen with her hair in a ponytail and she was wearing pink sandals, blue jean shorts and a white t-shirt.  If you have any information, please call the Glendale Police: 623-930-HELP (4357)

MISSING IN INDIANA: Update on The Search For Lauren Spierer

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

laurenss

Investigators say Lauren Spierer was last seen at 4:30 a.m. and was in the Bloomington, Indiana area near the corner of 11th Street and College Avenue on June 3. Since then, hundreds of volunteers and law enforcement officials have donated their time to help find the missing student.  Now, 61 days into the investigation, authorities are turning their focus to an area landfill.

The site is 55 miles from where Lauren was last seen, and it could hold evidence or clues to where she could be.  It is unclear at this point when the search will begin.  Peg Mulloy, Republic Services spokesperson said they have had, “discussions with the FBI and Bloomington police regarding the Sycamore Ridge Landfill.”  Mulloy said out of the 200 landfills they oversee, this would not be the first time they’ve corporate with law enforcement on the recovery of a body or evidence.  Republic Services also opened up another site to find a missing child known as Baby Gabrielle.

Lauryn Dickens MISSING
Lauryn Dickens MISSING

It’s been nearly a month since 10-month-old Lauryn Dickens went missing in Memphis, Tennessee.  Police say Shakara Dickens reported her daughter missing one week after she claims that she gave the child to a stranger on Sept. 7. Dickens, 19, was arrested and charged with aggravated child neglect and endangerment and filing a false police report.  She appeared in court again on Friday with her attorney Murray Wells and a preliminary hearing is set for October 21, 2010.  On that date the state will have to show probable cause.  Investigators have executed search warrants and have searched her apartment numerous times looking for clues that would hopefully lead to answers, but sadly the child has not yet been found.  Everyone wants to keep the faith that the child is still alive, but investigators admit based on the information they have they are fearing the worst.

BODY FOUND IN WYOMING IS NOT MISSING MOM, SEARCH CONTINUES

Susan Powell Missing

Susan Powell Missing

Summer has come and gone and Susan Powell has not been found.  Over the last nine months since she went missing on December 7, 2009, many bodies have been found in the desert.  When her family and close friends get word, they simply hold their breath and wait.  That was the case earlier this week when a female body was found on a Wyoming ranch.  Investigators confirm that the body is not Susan, and that the search for her continues.

Over the summer a couple of searches took place in the area where Susan’s husband Josh Powell says he went camping the night she disappeared.  Josh is officially a “person of interest” in this case, but investigators have not moved forward with any official charges.  When Susan went missing last December Josh told investigators he took his two small children out in the middle of the night in the West Desert. Since then many searches have been executed, but unfortunately nothing has been uncovered.

UPGRADED SEARCH TO FIND MISSING OREGON BOY

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

It’s been nearly a week since 7-year-old Kyron Horman was last seen. Investigators say the child went missing from his elementary school on Friday, June 4, 2010.  The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office was immediately contacted and a search throughout the Portland area ensued.  Last weekend, the Major Crimes Team stepped in to assist, and now the FBI is involved.  There are expert search teams from the entire state combing the immediate area of where the child may have been taken. Sheriff Dan Staton said, every piece of ground within a 2 ½ mile radius of Kyron’s school has been covered, and the efforts today will go back over those areas.

Kyron’s family has reached out to the public, but not in person, or on camera.  They issued a statement and urged the community for help with looking for Kyron.  The family asks folks in the immediate area to please search their properties, buildings, sheds, any small places a child could hide.  They say their reason for not appealing to the public in person is because they don’t want to take the attention away from Kyron.  On a personal note, although I respect the family’s decision to scale back their public appearances, I also understand that they need the media to help find their son.

POLICE: Tonya Hobbs murdered with a hammer, daughter still missing

Aja Johnson & Lester Hobbs (police say photo was taken just hours before the murder)

The United States Marshal Service held a press conference in Oklahoma today.  Authorities released brand new pictures and information in the Aja Johnson case.  It’s been more than a month since Aja Johnson was abducted and her mother Tonya was found beaten to death inside an RV.  Since then, investigators in Oklahoma have issued a warrant for Lester Hobbs arrest charging him with first degree murder and kidnapping.  I spoke with Deputy U.S. Marshal Arthur Templteton out of the Loughton office earlier, and he said there has been no activity on the case.  He stated that they have, “not had anything viable on the vehicle, Aja Johnson, or Lester Hobbs.”

When this case originally broke, there was a massive ice storm that swept through most of the state of Oklahoma.  The storm paralyzed the region for 8 – 14 days. During that period, many folks were without power, so some have not even heard about the Amber Alert or the murder.

Paola Michelle Suarez MISSING
Paola Michelle Suarez MISSING

The National Center for Missing and Exploited children needs your help locating Paola Michelle Suarez.  She is only 13-year-old and it is believed she ran away on her own.  Although runaway cases do not get a lot of attention in the media, I do feel these cases are extremely important.  A 13-year-old is not able to make decisions in the world, and as we know, horrible things could happen to her.

Paola may have the name “PAO” marked on her arm, and she was last seen on January 7, 2010.

Ariel Beck Missing

ARIEL BECK FOUND

**Prayers were answered last night when Ariel returned home after a memorial vigil was held to pray for her safe return.  Her parents say she may have met a child predator on line and could have left to meet him, investigators are looking into that claim, and to figure out where she was hiding for more than two weeks.**

Police need your help finding 14-year-old Ariel Beck who they say ran away from home on November 18, 2009 after being grounded by her parents.  Ariel’s family says this is the first time she has ever run away, and they are devastated.  Investigators have learned, before she left, Ariel told a friend she had a 23-year-old female friend living in Sacramento, but they have no evidence to prove that she is there.  No one has seen or heard from Ariel. Anyone with information is asked to call the Simi Valley Police Department Tipline at (805) 583-6984 or please contact Detective David Delmarto: (805) 583-6218 / email at ddelmart@simivalley.org.
