We are receiving word at this hour that there is a “possible break” in the Brittanee Drexel case. There are reports that indicate that multiple persons of interests have been uncovered, and that Brittanee may not be alive. We have calls into investigators, and will update you with the very latest as soon as we hear back. A search will take place in Georgetown County again this weekend.
Brittanee went missing on April 25, 2009 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was last seen leaving the Blue Water Resort on Ocean Boulevard. John Morris was 37-years-old when he went missing from Dickerson, Maryland on July 30, 2007. He was last seen around 11 p.m. near the 240000 block of Whites Ferry Road standing at the end of a driveway he shared with his boyfriend. John is a talented artist who leaves behind a loving family and a network of support from friends. The CUE Center for Missing Persons has joined the search to help find John as well. John’s mother says he has attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and a history of depression. John has a tattoo of a scorpion on his left shoulder and a snake on his right forearm. According to the FINDJOHNMORRIS website, he has a scar on his right calf, and his left ear is pierced.
John’s mother leaves this message on his website, “If you have any idea of what happened to John.
Please be a human being with a conscience and come forward. The truth will set you free. If you were paid or paid someone to hurt John, remember, money won’t buy your way out of the fires of hell. What comes around goes around, if not here, but at your final judgment day. Only you can make things right by coming forward and beg God’s forgiveness.”
I spoke with Lt. Hargrove with Howard County Sheriff’s office in Indiana. He says Ester Westenbarger went missing on November 12, 2009 when she left the Miller’s tavern in town. Ester and her vehicle a Cadillac CTS are still missing. Lt. Hargrove told me Ester was pretty new to the area, she recently moved from Ohio when she lost her job with Chrysler. She accepted a buy out from her former company and came to Indiana to start over. Ester’s group of friends was limited because she was fairly new to town, however there were times she did frequent some bars in the area. The weekend after she was reported missing, Ester was supposed to show up to a family gathering, and her family members knew Ester wouldn’t miss that. Investigators have interviewed a multitude of people in this case, but so far, nothing has led them to this missing mom.

The CUE Center for Missing Persons announced they are joining the effort to find Morgan Harrington. CUE has assisted in more than 8,700 cases nationwide to help families during their most difficult times. In addition to these efforts, this Saturday, January 16, 2009 at the Hat Factory in Richmond, Virginia, a benefit concert is being held to raise funds to help find Morgan. Tickets are $15.00 a person, and the money will go to directly to the fund. Metallica the band is graciously offering a $50,000 reward in this case.
BACKGROUND:
Investigators say Morgan vanished on October 17, 2009 while attending a Metallica concert outside the John Paul Jones arena in Virginia. State police officials report Morgan was last seen by the ticket office on the University Hall side of the building. On the weekend of November 6, 2009, The Laura Recovery center helped to organized a three day search for Morgan, volunteers from all over assisted with this amazing effort.
