Norma Lopez MISSING (photo of the shirt she was wearing the day she vanished)
Time is ticking on and one month has passed since teenager Norma Lopez was abducted and killed in Moreno Valley, California. Since then, regular classes have resumed at Valley View High and the hunt to find her killer is still active. Police told me Norma left her summer school classes at Valley View and was supposed to meet her sister, but she never made it to the location. Investigators believe she may have taken a short cut from Dracaea Avenue leading out to an area on Cottonwood Avenue, but somewhere in between authorities believe she was kidnapped. In fact, some of her personal belongings were found in a field, and there were signs of a struggle. Investigators believe she was taken against her will and may have been thrown into a newer model green SUV. That vehicle was seen fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed. Deputy Nieburger told me that that vehicle may not necessarily be connected to the murder, but the driver may have seen something. The area where Norma’s body was found is about three miles away from where she went missing, and her remains were in an open field on top of the ground.

For the last 10 months the FBI believes an elderly man has been robbing banks. Most of the hits have been in San Diego County, and one in Riverside County. His latest heist was at a Bank of America in Temecula, California. If you take a close look at the photos, the suspect looks like someone’s grandpa, but the FBI says this grandpa is a gun-wielding bandit. He is known to carry a small caliber pistol inside a leather case, and has threatened tellers that he will use it if they don’t cough up the cash. Once he gets what he wants, the suspect walks out of the bank.
Agents believe the white male is between 60-70 years old, he’s fairly tall, standing about six feet, and weighing just less than 200 pounds.
From the FBI’s website:
“The Geezer Bandit is believed to be responsible for robbing the following banks:”
Police in Sacramento, California are reaching out to the public for help. Over the weekend, Tatiyanna Conrad, 13, went missing around 2 p.m. on Saturday. Her mother reported her missing to authorities late Saturday night. Police say they are concerned because Tatiyanna does not have a history of running away. Sometimes she is known to walk up to the Raley’s shopping center on Folsom Boulevard, but that is about as far as she travels from her apartment complex on Occidental Drive.
School began this morning, and Tatiyanna is nowhere to be found. She is on the taller side, about 5’7”, weighs about 130 pounds, and waslast seen wearing a black shirt with gold writing that says, “This is my shirt.”

More than 200 brand new photoswere finally released by the NYPD this week in the Rodney Alcala serial killer case. Investigators are hoping to identify all of the people in the photos. Authorities in California released an initial stash of pictures last month to the public out of whichmore than 20 women have been identified and are said to be doing well. At that time, another batch was sent off to the NYPD cold-case squad, but wasnot immediately made public.
All of the photos depict women, girls and young boys. Along with being on death row for five murders, police say Alcala is a suspect in two other cold-case killings in New York. Cornelia Crilley, 23, was raped and strangled in 1971, and her case was never solved. Also, Ellen Jane Hover, 23, disappeared in 1977. Her bones were found in a grave a short time later. Alcala may have been the last person to see her alive.
