The search to find missing nursing student Holly Bobo, 20, will continues. Investigators say Holly was abducted from her home in Parsons, TN on April 13.   Tuesday, Holly’s family released a statement as the reward to find her has grown to $80,000:

“We could never thank everyone enough for all the kindness shown to our family during this difficult time,” the family said in a written statement to the media. “Thanks for your search efforts, donations and especially your prayers for Holly and our family.

“I know everyone’s daily life, routines and work must go on, but ours never will until Holly is back with us. Please continue to pray for Holly’s safe return, keep your eyes and ears open and search your own property. Please pray for Holly’s strength and everyone who is still searching for our precious Holly.”

During the first couple of weeks, hundreds of volunteers from Holly’s community joined forces with police to comb the wooded areas and roadways throughout Parsons and surrounding counties. Some personal items have been recovered, like her lunch bag, but none of the evidence has led to her whereabouts.

ONE YEAR LATER: McStay Family Mystery, Five Things To Know

Monday, February 7th, 2011

MCSTAY11268000367338

It’s been a year since a family of four vanished in California, and authorities think the McStays may have planned a trip to Mexico before they disappeared.

Five things you should know about this case:

1) Joseph McStay, 40, his wife Summer, 43, Gianni, 4, and Joseph, 3, went missing on February 4, 2010. Authorities said they found e-mails from Joseph and Summer asking about passport information and entry into Mexico before February 4th, a clear indication that they may have planned their getaway. But the question is, why? It doesn’t appear the family had any financial or marital problems, Joseph left behind his teenage son, and their home was left in working order.

2) Who reported the family missing? Michael McStay, Joseph’s brother, reported the family missing to police 11 days after the vanished.

3) What did the family leave behind? The McStay’s family pets were left in the yard without food or water. Investigators say perishable food was left on the counter along with other personal items left in the home.

FBI Steps Up To The Plate In Jennifer Kesse Investigation

Friday, October 22nd, 2010

The FBI has been on the back burner since June when Orlando authorities announced they have exhausted all leads in the investigation to find Jennifer Kesse.  Just this week, it appears federal authorities have jumped in the driver’s seat to begin the investigation over from scratch.  The first step was to give Drew Kesse and his son a polygraph test, nearly five years after Jennifer went missing.

Drew has spoken out and believes the FBI is looking into all areas including the idea that she could be a victim of human trafficking, and they are willing to cooperate.  Jennifer’s family will not give up until she is found dead or alive, and they will do whatever it takes to find their child, but this new move is also hurtful, “It is a devastating story with the FBI.  First, I cannot imagine why after five years and what we have done as a family to try and find Jennifer as well as so many others missing, we were polygraphed.  Jennifer is the loser here (in this case) and my heart is broken beyond repair.”

AMY BISHOP’S BIZARRE PAST COMES BACK TO HAUNT HER

Mass chaos erupts on a college campus as a gunman opens fire.  Professors and students are scrambling, bystanders are taking cover and no one knows where the bullets will land.  This was the scene on February 12, 2010 at the University of Alabama Huntsville campus.  One of their professors allegedly brought a gun to the school and started taking shots.  Investigators learned the lone gunman was actually a Harvard University graduate and one of their own.

Her name is Amy Bishop.

I can’t recall in recent history a woman opening fire on a campus, much less a professor.   I spoke with Sgt. Mark Roberts from the Huntsville Police Department and he told me there was a faculty meeting, and just before 4 p.m. gunfire erupted inside the conference room.  Police were called, and responded to the building within minutes.  They didn’t know at the time where the alleged shooter, Amy Bishop was hiding, but they eventually found her outside the building and took her into custody.  Sgt. Roberts says investigators on the scene did not immediately find the 9 mm gun that was used, but later that night authorities located the weapon on the 2nd floor bathroom inside a garbage can.  Amy Bishop did not have a permit for the gun.  Sadly, three professors died in the deadly incident, and three others were injured.
