SNAGGED: Help Philadelphia Police Catch A Suspect Who Shot An Innocent Woman
Friday, April 8th, 2011Philadelphia Police said a 19-year-old female was shot in the stomach after she was approached by an unknown black male. The suspect is described as in his early 20s with a whispery beard, wearing a baseball cap and a black hooded sweatshirt. He was also wearing a black (possibly leather) coat. Three months later, it doesn’t appear investigators are any closer to finding out who murdered Paula Sladewski. Police still need your tips to help solve this case. Instead of this tragedy pulling her family together – they are reportedly tearing apart. There are many reports that suggest Paula’s mother and sister are feuding and fighting over her personal belongings, but not in the way you may think.
Reading the reports made me think about all the unsolved cases (crime and missing) and the families left behind. In all the cases I’ve covered, I have watched family members come together, or get ripped apart. The pain runs so deep, they are never able to repair the damage, mainly because of the hurt and loss they feel for their loved one who was murdered, or is missing.
WOMAN RAPED AT ATM

Police say a woman was attacked at an ATM and raped nearby in the woods. Investigators say the victim was ambushed at an ATM in Port Richey, Florida six days ago. Pasco County authorities are hoping surveillance video from the ATM will lead them to the suspect. The attacker is described as a black male, six feet tall, and 170-190 pounds. You can view video from the FOX Tampa station of the suspect.
Authorities remind citizens if you are visiting an ATM, please be aware of your surroundings. It is never a good idea to visit a standalone ATM by yourself at night. The best advice is to try to find a few indoor ATM locations to withdraw your cash from. In 2008, Pasco County shows they had 158 forcible sex offenses against victims.
