On Sunday, March 28, 2010, in the early evening hours, a 7-year-old child was outside with her 15-year-old sister in the west district of Trenton, New Jersey.  I spoke with Capt. Joseph Juniak from the Trenton Police and he told me the 7-year-old was following her 15-year-old sister to protect her.  The child thought the teen was going to run away, and she wanted to make sure she would be okay. 

That is when the girls were approached by two men standing outside the Rowland Towers in their neighborhood.  They invited the sisters upstairs to a party inside an unoccupied apartment.  Capt. Juniak says the towers are known for criminal activity, ranging from drugs, to home invasions, even a shooting there about two weeks ago.  It is not a place for a teenager or a 7-year-old to be anytime, day or night.
