Deputy U.S. Marshal Glenn Belgard, a personal friend, and his beautiful wife Johnna came to Washington, D.C. for a very special awards ceremony. The United States Attorney General presented Glenn with an award for Distinguished Service for his efforts in Central Louisiana.

“Deputy U.S. Marshal Belgard is a humble person and not comfortable being in the spotlight.  A major factor in his success is attributable to his close working relationship with his task force officers and with local area law enforcement leadership in central Louisiana.  Deputy U.S. Marshal Belgard runs an exceptional fugitive task force that works tirelessly in tracking down and arresting some of the most violent criminals in Louisiana.  State and local task force officers assigned to the task force are some of the most committed police officers in the country,” said Acting United States Marshal Tommy Hancock.
